We've (well, mostly Adam) been working on the landscaping and keeping the lawn looking nice. Don't you love the hanging baskets?

In other big news....

Bee Sting

Last night, the boys thought it would be a good idea to take baseball bats to the hives that were forming under the swingset. After knocking a few down, the wasps became angry and stung Seth in the lip! We're so thankful that he only got stung once, for as we investigated the scene afterward, we found quite a few hives and wasps. They have now been terminated with wasp spray.

Weekend with Amanda

This past weekend we were so excited to have Auntie Amanda come and visit.

On Saturday, we spent the beautiful day at Meijer Gardens.

There was lots of activity along the marsh. We saw frogs, turtles, and even a muskrat (?)

We took a rest at the farmhouse.

Seth's Summer Haircut

After much deliberation, we decided it was time to cut Seth's hair. He was starting to be quite uncomfortable in the heat with his long hair.
