Surgery was a success

Hannah's surgery was a success this morning. She is now trached and recovering on a vent. As soon as she is awake they will try to wean her off the vent and then re-start feedings again. It will take about a week to recover from the surgery, at which time the doctor will do the first trach change and then it will be up to us!

    She looks like a different baby without the CPAP! So sweet to see her whole face. I'm so glad surgery went well.

    IT is good to see her precious face! Praying for all of you as you continue to get settled into the difficult situation and praying that Hannah will recover well from her surgery. I am glad you are able to portray such thankfulness in your time of trials! I know you both really did not want that trach. You are an inspiration! Hugs!

    We tried to check on Hannah while we were gone but the computer at the hotel was too slow. We are so happy to hear that Hannah is doing well after her surgery. Our friends at church are also praying for Ellie & Hannah.

    Praise God for a successful surgery! It's wonderful to see Hannah's beautiful face. I'm sorry that this was necessary, but I'm so glad things went well and that she'll be breathing so much more easily.

    Just wanted to leave a note to let you know we are still thinking of you and praying for you! Our kids tonight prayed for each of you by name, and they cant wait to meet Hannah! They really enjoy looking at the photos!
